- The state lottery mobile application
• The original lottery mobile application went live in November of 2012 and has had three major upgrades.
• The latest, in November of 2024, included a new look and feel and features that allow a customer to easily customize their mobile application experience by selecting their favorite games and features to appear on their home screen and to easily find information.
• The look and feel, a variety of additional security enhancements were put in place including the requirement that a customer be logged in to check a ticket and a full know your customer (KYC) identify verification program.
• since launch through march of 2025, there have been more than 1.6 million iOS downloads and more than 1.8 million android downloads.
• An additional 11,000 to 15,000 new user application installations occur each month.

- Cashing options
1. Mobile cashing
• In April 2020, the agency launched a mobile cashing program which allowed customers to cash prizes between $50 and $5,000 quickly and easily using their mobile device.
• In February 2022, the mobile cashing limit was increased to $25,000.
• Customers quickly adopted the change and in the first month cashed more than 100 winning tickets over $5,000.
• Through January of 2025, the agency has cashed more than 960,540 claims for more than $330 million.
2. Digital claim form
• In august 2020, the agency launched a digital claim form, which allowed a customer to upload a winning ticket via the website or mobile application
• This was launched for prizes over $5,000, however, the minimum amount was quickly decreased to $1.
• As of January of 2025, there have been more than 4,500 submissions.
3. Super retailer
• In June 2020, the agency launched a super retailer program, which allowed the seven Racinos and more than 30 traditional retailers to cash prizes up to $5,000.
• This program was launched as a replacement to the traditional “bank cashing” program that the agency had previously offered at more than 100 bank locations across the state.
• The Racinos are able to cash up to $25,000.
• As of January of 2025, the super retailer program includes more than 70 traditional retailers, Racinos and casinos that have processed more than 322,665 claims for over $599 million.
