The vendor is required to provide scheduling software system acquisition that will enhance authority in the efficient planning, creation, management, and optimization of its service schedules for bus and rail operations.
- Scheduling software
• To deliver and maintain the scheduling software system, the proposer shall supply a complete, operating scheduling solution for the creation and management of bus and rail service schedules.
• The system shall be vendor hosted or deployed as a software as a service (SaaS) base solution.
• The proposer shall be responsible for maintaining the performance of the system, managing system availability, uptime, and cybersecurity, as well as ensuring the continued maintenance and operations of all scoped system integrations.
• The proposer shall be responsible for installing or assisting in the installation and testing of the deployed system.
• Include all software, and services necessary to accomplish the supply, engineering, project management, installation, configuration, integration, documentation, testing, training, startup, maintenance, and other services required to configure, deploy, and accept the system.

• Provides a high-level summary of requirements for the scheduling software system.
• The proposer shall supply an integrated and fully functional scheduling software system that includes all engineering, project management, and other services necessary to accomplish the supply, installation, testing, documentation, training, and start-up of the complete system.
• The proposer shall supply a complete, operating scheduling software system that shall include:
o Hosting and managed services of the scheduling software system.
o Vendor-provided scheduling software for fixed route bus and rail services.
o A system that supports the creation, management, and optimization of authority transit service schedules for vehicles and operators.
o A system that supports the full scheduling lifecycle, including the definition of routes and stops, generation of time-based trips, vehicle blocks, operator crew schedules, and roster creation.
o The ability to ensure adherence to authority operational constraints, labor agreements, and service policies while providing tools for scenario modeling, optimization, analysis, and data validation.
o User-friendly graphical interfaces that support both fixed-route for bus and rail.
o The ability of the system to be scalable, support multi-divisional operations, and offer robust reporting, version control, and data export capabilities to support efficient planning and scheduling operations.
