The vendor is required to provide overhead digital signage system of a multi-stage initiative aimed at enhancing airport wayfinding, advertising, and communication through state-of-the-art digital signage technology.
1. Design and engineering
• Provide a digital signage system that meets or exceeds the performance capabilities of the existing units while adhering to all dimensional and structural constraints.
• If structural modifications are necessary, the vendor will be responsible for all associated engineering, permitting, and construction costs.
2. Procurement and fabrication
• Furnish all equipment, materials, and components compliant with the project’s, MUTCD, and NEMA requirements.
• Ensure all components are new, durable, weather-resistant, and suitable for long-term outdoor use.
3. Integration and compatibility
• Ensure seamless connectivity with the airport’s existing information systems for real-time data, messaging, and content updates.
• Provide a secure, cloud-based content management solution with remote scheduling and control capability.
4. Installation
• Remove and dispose of existing signage in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Install the new signs, mounting structures, power supply, communication systems, and associated hardware.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to airport operations.
5. Testing and commissioning
• Perform complete system testing, including connectivity, content display, brightness adjustment, environmental operation, and redundancy features.
• Ensure the system is fully operational and integrated into the airport’s communication network before acceptance.
