- Asset management
1. Oracle work and asset management (WAM) and city works
•    WAM from oracle and city works from Trimble are comprehensive enterprise asset management solutions for asset lifecycle and maintenance management that provide a single point of control over all types of assets. 
•    Agency uses oracle WAM for all work, resource, and asset management for vertical assets at its water and wastewater treatment facilities. 
•    Agency water is transitioning to city works from a homegrown mainframe system (MMIS) to manage field operations for utility services linear assets. 
•    Agency water’s oracle WAM and city works systems are interfaced with EBS for materials management and procurement and ArcGIS for geospatial services. 
•    Agency water also uses the oracle mobile work management (MWM) system for customer-facing work orders, including turn-ons, shut-offs, meter sets, removes, and changes. 
•    Agency is evaluating a long-term replacement for MWM, which has been end-of-life.
2. ArcGIS
•    ArcGIS, from Esri, is a geographic information system (GIS) that works with maps and other geographic information. 
•    It is used for creating and using maps, compiling geographic data, analyzing mapped information, sharing and discovering geographic information, using maps and geographic information in various applications, and managing geographic information in a database.
•    Agency uses ArcGIS to track the location of all linear assets, including hydrants, values, pipes (water and sewer), catch basins, meters, right of ways, etc., and to display them visually on a map. 
•    Maps can be delivered to desktop and mobile devices to locate assets and work orders in real-time. 
•    Together with oracle WAM and city works, ArcGIS provides the foundation for agency integrated work and resource management.
- Data analytics and artificial intelligence and machine learning
1. Power bi
•    Agency is consolidating several legacy business intelligences and reporting solutions and is Standardizing on the microsoft power bi platform. 
•    The existing solutions include dashboards supporting customer service, finance and accounting, operations, and engineering and various performance management solutions supporting the office of performance and accountability. 
•    Agency is also rearchitecting the infrastructure supporting this environment and transitioning to microsoft azure synapse with an eventual plan to adopt the MS fabric as part of an expanded use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

•    FileNet ECM, from IBM, is a powerful, fully integrated content management system that delivers the essential capabilities for managing business-critical documents. 
•    It allows users to access, store, and manage millions of structured contents for easy search and retrieval. 
•    Agency water users leverage various FileNet applications to support their business operations, including, but not limited to, managing engineering drawings, finance disbursement and revenue documents, permits, warehouse invoices and receipts, legal documents, HR files, budget forms, utilities service IOPs, etc.

•    Oracle utilities suites applications are comprehensive enterprise customer solutions for billing and mobile workforce management. 
•    Agency uses oracle c2m for all billing, credit and collection, meter and device management, meter reads, field activity, payment processing, case management, financial data management, customer data management, premise data management, rates management, other systems, including financial and banking system, web services. 
•    Agency water also uses the oracle mobile work management (MWM) system for customer-facing work orders, including turn-ons, shut-offs, meter sets, removes, and changes.
