The Vendor is required to provide a scalable, cloud-based, software-as-a-service (“SaaS”), e-learning content solution (“solution”) that supports employee professional development and compliance training.
- Solution must offer a diverse and high-quality content library, deliver intuitive user experience, and include reporting features suitable for a higher education environment.
- Standalone learning management system (LMS), the proposed Solution must be compatible with and preferably include a prebuilt integration for Workday Learning.
- The Solution should require minimal support post-implementation from the school information technology (IT) team and provide administrative efficiency through streamlined user access, tracking, and reporting tools.
- Content and Learning Materials
• Professional Development (e.g., communication, leadership, time management)
• Workplace and Technical Skills (e.g., artificial intelligence [“AI”], project management, safety).
• Higher Education-specific content (e.g., research ethics, proposal writing).
• Industry Certifications (e.g., Society for Human Resource Management [SHRM], Project Management Professional [PMP], agile methodologies).
- Integration and Implementation
• Seamless integration with Workday Learning, and compatibility with Workday Cloud Connect for
• Learning or similar prebuilt connector.
• Compatibility with major web browsers and mobile devices.
• Assign a dedicated implementation and account management team to ensure clear expectations regarding implementation and ongoing support.
• Offerors must submit a clear implementation plan that includes:
o A detailed methodology covering discovery, setup, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
o Estimated timelines and major milestones.
o A training approach for administrators and stakeholders.
o A risk management and communication plan for coordination with school HR and IT teams.
- All digital experiences including websites, applications, digital assets, and digital interfaces provided as part of the Solution must meet all applicable success criteria of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level A and AA.
- User Interface and Customization
• Intuitive and customizable interfaces for both learners and administrators.
• Capability to assign, track, and report on learning activities.
• Support for uploading custom training content and building interactive assessments.
• A documented product roadmap that includes future enhancements, such as AI-driven content recommendations or expanded compliance offerings.
- Must adhere to and validate against an industry recognized information security framework in deployment, maintenance, and operational practices of proposed platform
- Must have disaster recovery and business continuity protections in place to ensure recovery of school data and the continuity of school operations
- Must encrypt data at rest and in transit
- Must engage in annual security audit and provide an annual security report, validating practices used to maintain security for product (i.e. SOC 2 Type 2 report).
- Must conduct regular application, network, and system vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, remediating identified flaws within industry standard practice
- Must use secure coding and code validation practices in development of the product (such as Open Worldwide Application Security Project, etc.).
