The vendor is required to provide preventive and remedial maintenance of intelligent transportation systems to equipment and services for preventive and remedial maintenance, inspection, testing, upgrade, replacement, and repair of intelligent transportation system (ITS) maintenance needs.
- Requirements:
• Provide all required safety equipment and instruct personnel to observe all safety policies, rules, and requirements at all times.
• Provide a primary point-of-contact (POC).
• Ensure personnel are not excessively loud.
• Ensure personnel do not use personal multi-media devices while performing services for agency unless furnished by the vendor to facilitate communication with agency or the vendor.
• The background checks must include, but not be limited to, the following:
o Social security number verification.
o Statewide criminal and sex offender records for all counties and out-of-state county equivalents based on the current and previous addresses of the applicant for the past seven years.
• Provide additional services necessary to complete work.
• Services are identified as work needed to return the equipment or work area, or both, to ITS properly functioning or original condition.
• May include, but not be limited to, code upgrades, installations, fabrication work, sheet-metal work, painting and drywall, electrical, concrete, or flooring repair.
• Provide all required safety equipment and instruct personnel to observe all safety policies, rules and requirements at all times, including, but not limited to, wearing hard hats, safety shoes, and safety goggles, etc.
• Staff or subcontractors to respond to multiple requests for services at the same time, as requested by the designated agency representative on an as needed basis during weather emergencies and any other emergency related events.
• Provide all training to the pm and technician(s) to upgrade skills and maintain any required certifications based on the latest technology implemented
• Provide as scheduled preventive and remedial maintenance inspection, testing and repair, including but not limited to the upgrade of existing components, installation of new components at various locations and any required modifications to the ITS as determined by the designated agency representative.
• Provide a loop analyzer to test loop inductance, change in inductance, resistance, frequency, and q-factor when necessary to test detector loops.
