SQL Server Management Studio Productivity and Database Toolset

The vendor is required to provide SQL server management studio (SSMS) extensively for database development, administration, and maintenance.
- A plugin and integrated toolset that enhances SSMS capabilities, streamlines workflows, and supports collaboration among developers and database administrators.
- Provide, implement, and support a SSMS-compatible solution that:
•    Integrates directly with SSMS (both 2019 and latest stable version) with minimal performance impact. 
•    Provides all required features listed 
•    Includes installation support, licensing, and user training. 
•    Offers ongoing updates and technical support for the contract period.
- Functional requirements
1. Database comparison and synchronization
•    Compare data sets, table structures, and other database objects between databases and servers.
•    Synchronize database objects and data between servers and environments.
•    Support both schema-level and data-level comparisons.
2. Data movement and transformation
•    Moving data from one table to another, including between databases and servers.
•    Options for filtering, mapping, and transforming data during migration.
3. SQL code formatting and style management
•    Consistently format database code to reduce meaningless source control changes (e.g., whitespace).
•    Support multiple, user-specific formatting profiles that can be saved, recalled, and applied (e.g., “user a’s” style vs “user b’s” style).
•    Allow reformatting of large, complex SQL queries to improve readability and maintainability.
4. Source control integration
•    Integrate with git repositories for source code version control from within SSMS.
•    Support commit, pull, push, branch switching, and history review from within the SSMS environment.
5. Search capabilities
•    Word, string, and wildcard search across one or more databases.
•    Search results that identify both the database object and the location within that object where the match is found.
6. Session and history management
•    Preserve and allow recovery of closed SSMS tabs, including unsaved queries.
•    Maintain a version history of query tabs with the ability to view, compare, and restore previous versions.
•    Support “undo” functionality beyond the native SSMS capabilities.
7. Auto-complete enhancements
•    Improved and customizable auto-complete functionality beyond native SSMS features.
8. Optional and nice-to-have features
•    SQL server database monitoring capabilities
o    Performance metrics
o    Alerts
o    Query execution statistics.
