The Vendor is required to provide to modernize the software infrastructure that supports its senior transportation program with a commercial-off-the-shelf (“cots”) software that is configurable to achieve city.
- Improve scheduling efficiency, data management, user and driver communication, and reporting capabilities, while ensuring accessibility and ease of use for staff and seniors.
- Provide the following services:
• Replace existing scheduling and dispatch system with modernized software
• Provide intuitive software that enables flexibility with routing for three different services
• Install vendor supplied GPS/ tracking system for each vehicle
• Provide and implement user-friendly interfaces for both staff and seniors.
• Create integration with other services (e.g., home delivered meals).
• Ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards and data privacy regulations.
• Incorporate vendor supplied, dual facing, internal cameras on each vehicle to improve safety
• Provide analytics and reporting functions for program evaluation and funding purposes.
• Provide reports that track the individual senior being transported and their destination(s).
• Install new software for creating transportation schedules.
• Install GPS and cameras on vehicles.
• Provide support for agency staff with data entry of initial schedules.
• Ensure mobile compatibility for drivers and field use.
• Provide comprehensive staff training sessions.
• Create user manuals and quick-start guides.
• Address bugs and usability issues before launch.
• Offer ongoing technical support and system maintenance plans
- This service also consists of group transportation services to special events.
