The Vendor is required to provide support and maintenance, along with ongoing enhancements to ensure the continued functionality, performance, and evolution of the Crash Record Information System (CRIS).
- The system comprises the largest publicly available crash records system in existence with more than 6 million individual crash records available (in non-PII form) for public view., and as such provides invaluable insight for traffic safety professionals across the state and nation into the locations and types of motor vehicle crashes.
- Be able to work with business partners to coordinate and prioritize work using demand and capacity planning.
- Be able to perform resource management, including customer and vendor resources.
- Be able to manage the production support work logs.
- Be able to apply project management discipline to oversee the development of major and minor system enhancements.
- Be able to lead large-scale business application requirements' gathering efforts, while independently interacting at the director level in client organizations.
- Be able to transform business requirements into environment specific database designs using conceptual logical and physical data modeling.
- Be able to perform performance tuning, monitoring of applications and databases.
- Be able to develop and promote data management methodologies and standards.
- Be able to design and develop ETL jobs, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Be able to create documentation using data flow diagrams and ETL mappings.
- Be able to design data cleansing approaches and execute data cleansing and validation.
- Be able to lead data architectural review sessions to ensure compliance with direction and standards.
- Be able to provide on-going support of existing warehouses and databases as well as continually reevaluate current processes and techniques for increased efficiency and maintainability.
- Be able to analyze application and data integration problems, provide solutions, and recommend corrective actions.
- Be able to serve as liaison with vendors and service providers to select the products or services that best meet project goals.
- Be able to establish processes for management of business intelligence (Bl) systems design, deployment, functionality, and requirements throughout their lifecycle.
- Be able to apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist user groups on issues of business intelligence sourcing, administration reporting, and documentation.
- Provide System Monitoring Services, including the proactive use of manual checks and automated monitoring tools to maintain awareness and provide metrics of the health, security, and performance of the infrastructure and application components from end user point of interface. (E.g. long running queries and memory leaks, etc.)
