The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive web-based professional development management system designed for use in K-12 school districts that shall store, manage, track, and report the professional development processes of instructional employees, administrators, and classified personnel.
- The system will, at minimum, support over 90 sites/departments concurrently, with an approximate total of 8,000 staff.
- Staff Credentials
• Monitors/maintains/reports on PD transcript portfolios for all agency staff
• Includes certification and training history transcript for completed courses
• User profiles contain name, ID number, work email, phone, job type, job title, site, hire date, grade (if applicable) using imported data
• User profiles can be searched intuitively using multiple filters/search functions
• Dynamically groups users for targeting specific groups using user data
• Allows for SSO/SAML using district’s Microsoft MFA login processes
- Course Proposal and Registration Process
• Course proposal process requires approval from the District PD team
• Course creation tutorials available
• Automatic management of waitlists, conflicts, prerequisites available on course builds
• Engaging centralized electronic course catalog that allows for special event registration and can easily be browsed with tagging
• Course proposal process allows for subjects, program proficiency levels, state/district teaching standards, and targeting of groups
• Scheduled courses are made available for group and individual enrollment
• Course can be grouped into processes, such as learning progressions or onboarding lists
• Courses can be required, recommended or targeted to specific users
• Course creation can include multiple sections and/or class times
• Ability to bulk/batch enroll employees, based on group type, email or employee ID
• Ability to attach agendas, resources, and artifacts to course proposals
• Allows for registration windows at specific times and dates for courses
• Print function for rosters, name tags, sign-in sheets, agendas, artifacts, and resources
• Sign-in sheets are customizable to include/prohibit specific employee data
• Allows instructors to manage class communication, attendance, and surveys
• Tracks attendance and intuitively calculates roster functions based on attendance
• Ability to create in-person, hybrid, and distance synchronous courses
• Contains user-friendly, seamlessly integrated asynchronous course features
• Asynchronous course build options are customizable and accept SCORM packages
• Course registration process is easy for employees of all tech literacy levels
• “Badges/Awards” for employees to achieve based on completion of courses
- Survey & Evaluation
• Employee surveys can be built and added to review the effectiveness of courses
• Reporting that identifies the effectiveness of PD courses based on surveys
• Customization of surveys to align with district KPI’s and meet specific course requirements
• Customized employee evaluation processes available for administrator and classified staff
• Evaluation template walkthrough process can be adapted for district walkthroughs
