Secure Cloud Based Investigative Platform

The Vendor is required to provide a secure, cloud-based investigative platform capable of ingesting, fusing, and visualizing disparate digital data sources with a high degree of efficiency, proprietary functionality, and cross-departmental collaboration capabilities.
- Data Ingestion and Fusion
•    Shall ingest and fuse disparate digital data from multiple sources.
•    Shall enable ingestion of data from supportive technologies already in use within law enforcement.
- Data Visualization
•    Shall visualize disparate digital data, offering a level of clarity and integration.
•    Shall include features that uniquely visualize communications and peripheral technologies' data in combination.
- System Architecture and Access
•    Shall be accessible via personal or department-owned desktops, and laptops.
•    Shall support secure user access through departmental-verified credentials.
•    Shall operate independently of Office network infrastructure, requiring no additional IT resources or hardware/software purchases.
- Storage Optimization
•    Shall utilize processes that minimize storage needs, reducing peripheral storage costs.
- Collaboration and Interoperability
•    Shall be designed to support secure real-time collaboration among multiple users, both intra- and inter-departmental, as authorized.
•    Shall provide granular access control, enabling restriction or expansion of access on an individual user level.
•    Shall provide DE confliction features that alert users, user groups, and agencies to shared case entities.
- Reporting and Data Export
•    Shall generate automated reports of investigative findings in an easily exportable format.
•    Shall provide full export of all case data in a format compliant with discovery and evidentiary standards.
- Cloud Hosting and Security
•    Shall show compliance with standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or Fed RAMP to ensure secure cloud hosting and data protection.
•    Shall outline cloud architecture, security measures, and support/service levels.
- User Experience and Updates
•    Shall provide continuous availability (24/7/365) and allow download of all data at will.
•    Shall offer seamless updates that are immediately available to all users without requiring IT intervention or support.
- Auditing and Accountability
•    Shall provide detailed, case-level user metrics, including data access and changes.
•    Shall also offer usage metrics for auditing, accountability, and strategic planning purposes.
- A review process for cloud-based applications to ensure compliance with citywide security and privacy policies.
