The vendor is required to provide human capital software solution for include:
- Core HR and workforce management
• Employee details: employees and contingent workers will be managed within the system
• Payroll details: pay cycles are run per year, and are there unique payroll complexities (e.g., unionized workforce, multiple tax jurisdictions)
• Benefits management: benefits are currently offered, and are there unique requirements for benefits administration
• Recruitment workflow: provide a detailed overview of the current recruitment and onboarding process.
• Performance management: employee performance currently tracked, and what features are desired for goal setting, evaluations.
• Succession planning: there existing workflows or data points for succession planning, and how would these integrate into the new system
- Learning management
• There an existing learning management system (LMS) in place.
- Technical requirements
• System integrations: other systems (ERP, LMS, financial systems, etc.) must the HCM system integrate.
• Reporting needs: analytics and reporting capabilities are expected from the system
- Ancillary requirements
• Document management: documents are expected to be stored, and are there specific requirements for categorization, access, or retention policies.
• Workflow automation: specific manual workflows that need to be automated
- Operational considerations
• Mobile compatibility: features that must be accessible via mobile platforms
• User access levels: access or roles will be defined for different types of users (e.g., HR staff, managers, employees).
