The vendor is required to provide employee wellness platform presence, user friendly technology and reporting capabilities, and demonstrates a commitment to member engagement and participation that will allow eligible members access to a program that includes:
• Web and mobile capabilities
• Health assessments
• Single sign-on (SSO)
• Lifestyle management and condition support digital health programs
• Connections with wearable devices
• An individualized rewards and incentive program
• A web-portal containing health resources, tools, and tracking
• Health challenges and gamification
- Web portal and platform
• Provide a mobile first web-based platform (“platform”) that offers customization to include county and live well logos, endorsements and information relevant to the county’s health and welfare programs.
• Provide a platform with, at a minimum, access to web tools and resources, a health assessment, and online health programs.
• Members should be able to access the platform from any computer and mobile device, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week using a secure login and password.
• Provide a phone number, email address, and AI options that offer technical assistance for participants, including but not limited to, troubleshooting, login assistance, and password reset.

1. Health assessment and goal-based programming
• Provide a health assessment questionnaire via web or mobile device that addresses at minimum:
o Smoking and tobacco use
o Nutrition
o Exercise and physical activity
o Preventive care and screening
o Chronic disease risks and diagnosis
o Biometrics to include blood pressure, height, weight, body composition, cholesterol,
o Blood glucose, etc.
o Emotional health and stress
o Sleep
o Alcohol use
o Resiliency
o Productivity questions
• Identify and stratify risk and provide employees with recommendations based on their results as well as age and sex-specific screening guidelines.
• Stratify health assessment results and refer participants to resources and programs when modifiable health risks are indicated.
• Provide self-guided, web-based health improvement and lifestyle programs for participants.
• The platform should include, at a minimum, disease prevention and management programs such as diabetes, weight management, musculoskeletal conditions, stress management, smoking cessation, blood pressure and mental health.
• The capabilities to upload, integrate, and utilize biometric screening information for assessment from a third party, if requested by mcg at no additional charge and have the ability to allow employees to input and store personal health data such as blood pressure, weight, BMI or other applicable health screening information.

• Create new challenges and content needs to be provided on a quarterly basis to keep program up-to-date on national health campaigns, observances and trends
• Create inter-departmental challenges
• Offer an expanded range of challenges, that are more than activity based
• Adjust rewards based on duration and type of challenge
• Validate and report challenge outcomes
4. Health coaching
• The capability to assign appropriately credentialed, licensed and certified professionals for coaching services, when needed.
• The ability to provide coaching sessions through telephonic, virtual, and texting services for employees to enroll in and schedule coaching appointments.
5. Social wellness programs
• Platform shall and at no additional cost, demonstrate the ability to connect to other eligible employees and allow participation by the family and friends of those eligible employees through the platform to create team challenges, leaderboards, and social interaction, for social connection and accountability.
6. Wellness champion program resources
• The ability to designate individual eligible employees as wellness champions, reward wellness champions, and track wellness champion activities through the online platform.

• Single sign-on and multi-factor authentication that meets the standards under the act and mcg requirements for data security.
• Platform designed for mobile first rather than mobile-friendly access
• fitness tracking device integration with majority of highly utilized trackers like Fitbit, Samsung health, apple watch, etc. for validated activity information
• Ability to integrate subsidy programs for fitness tracking devices
• AI-driven content and goal recommendations individualized for each employee based on health assessment results, self-reported conditions, selected interests, and screening recommendations
• Integration with county payroll for incentive distribution
• Ability to receive and use eligibility files to match employee records upon registration
• Customizable dashboard with ability to integrate mcg benefits and third-party vendor programs and information.
- Account management
• Assign a dedicated team to ensure all contract requirements and service deliverables under the contract are met
• Provide an account management team that is experienced in providing services to public sector entities of a similar size and complexity, and dedicated to understanding mcg’s health and wellness needs, challenges, and issues with sufficient capacity and authority to respond to mcg issues in a timely manner
• Assign an account manager as the day-to-day contact that will have the primary responsibility of responding to all issues, coordinating the efforts of contractor’s staff to resolve issues, and will be responsible for all aspects of project management including, but not limited to, the initial implementation and ongoing program support.
• The account manager should become familiar with mcg’s health plan structure, number of employees, culture, demographics and supporting wellness programs.
• Provide regularly scheduled meetings to include an annual utilization meeting.
• Provide program statistics and recommendations to improve program offerings.
• Provide on-site support, as needed
• Assign full administration access and role assignment for designated mcg users on the platform
• Ability to generate and run reports, set up challenges, and add custom communications
• Ability to provide member surveys through the platform and provide reporting on these surveys
• Provide networking opportunities with other clients with similar program design, industry, etc.
- Communication
• Brochures, pamphlets, notification letters, newsletters, emails or any wellness materials distributed to employees
• Customizable templates and outreach tools for new eligible employees, non-enrolled eligible employees, and non-engaged eligible employees to drive and encourage program enrollment.
• Customizable electronic event calendars with mcg admin access to promote events including descriptions and registration links.
• Marketing support for program promotions including email templates, electronic displays, and communication creation.
• Provide artwork for marketing and communication materials.
