The Vendor is required to provide design, implementation, and support of a hosted data warehouse and dashboard solution.
- This solution will ingest data from various data sources into a central platform for the purpose of delivering drill down, actionable visualizations to enhance analysis, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- This solution is not simply about creating dashboards; its true purpose is to integrate data across instructional and non-instructional departments, providing a unified and comprehensive view that enables deeper analysis through correlation, projection, and predictive modeling.
- By leveraging these analytical capabilities, the district will be empowered to identify patterns, forecast trends, and make more informed decisions that improve teaching, learning, and overall district effectiveness.
- Comprehensive Data Warehouse
• Design and implement a hosted, centralized data warehouse capable of securely ingesting multiple data sources through fully automated data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) pipelines.
• Responsible for configuring and maintaining automated ETL processes for the data sources required for the defined dashboards and reports.
• The data warehouse shall support correlation analysis and longitudinal data modeling, enabling the identification of relationships and trends across multiple data sources.
• The solution shall ensure data integrity, security, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
- Web-Based, User-Friendly Dashboard
• Provide a web-based, self-service dashboard system, exclusive to LPS staff that transforms warehouse data into interactive, actionable visualizations and includes functionality for generating projections and predictive insights using historical and real-time data to support proactive decision-making.
• Deliver a public-facing dashboard that replicates LPS’S current scorecard which is based on the board of education priorities.
• Board priorities and scorecard can be accessed via the link.
• The solution will include AI-enabled functionality to allow users to query the data warehouse using natural language.
• District data will not be shared, sold, or used to train any external AI models.
• Data use will be limited strictly to enabling the district’s own AI functionality within the solution.
- Dashboard, Reporting, Analysis, and Survey Capabilities
• The vendor shall deliver a comprehensive set of customized dashboards and reports as defined in the “Dashboard Requirements Spreadsheet” (attached). This document outlines the required dashboards, metrics, and functionality that must be included in the proposed solution and serves as the foundation for the work.
• The spreadsheet includes a column titled “Deployment Priority,” which identifies dashboards designated for initial deployment.
• These high-priority dashboards are marked with the title “Go-Live – [Focus Area Name]” and correspond to the following focus areas:
o Student Performance
o Attendance
o Early Childhood/Preschool Readiness
o Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
o Special Education
o Behavior/Discipline
• The solution must seamlessly integrate with the data warehouse, reporting, and dashboard functionalities, enabling unified analysis of survey data alongside other district datasets.
• The solution shall support correlation analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, relationships, and insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
