Underground Residential Distribution Systems

The Vendor is required to provide to support ongoing growth and residential development within the city, the electric department has worked closely with subdivision developers to ensure the timely and coordinated delivery of electrical infrastructure.
- The department has collaborated with developers to design the layout of transformers and underground distribution cables serving new homes.
- The contractor is responsible for the full execution, coordination, and quality of all work, including:
•    Supervising, scheduling, and maintaining communication with the city electric utility’s representative
•    Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals
•    Coordinating with other utilities, contractors, and stakeholders to minimize disruptions
•    Installing underground distribution cables, transformers, and related components
•    Completing all required survey layout and field verification
•    Restoring and rehabilitating the site to pre-construction or better condition
•    Ensuring all materials and workmanship meet or exceed contract specifications and correcting deficiencies as required
•    Complying with all safety, environmental, and city contractor safety program requirements.
