The vendor is required to provide radio content management platform system will provide ground operators with reliable air-to-ground radio communication to maintain an efficient and safe flow of ground traffic within the designated ramp area.
- This includes:
• Monitoring aircraft positions and movements.
• Coordination between integrated operation center agents with american ramp control personnel.
- System configuration and testing
• Software configuration: configure the system software, including communication protocols, frequency assignments to include american, american eagle, and east and west ground frequencies, and operator profiles.
• Base stations will need to be established in the gate coordinator area or best area to receive an operable signal.
• System integration: integrate the new radio system with existing air traffic management (atm) systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Functional testing: conduct comprehensive functional testing to verify all system features and ensure compliance with the design specifications.
• Coverage testing: perform on-site rf signal strength and coverage testing using a radio-equipped aircraft or vehicle to verify reliable communication across the entire designated air space and airport surface.
• Acceptance testing: conduct final acceptance testing with ground operators and other stakeholders to demonstrate the system's performance and operational readiness.
