Communication System

The vendor is required to provide communication system manages multiple campuses, including psychiatric hospitals, residential habilitation centers (RHCs), and commitment centers across the state.
- The facilities are equipped with inadequate telecommunications cabling infrastructure, which supports the electronics health system (EHR), telephone, data, and video systems.
- Submitting firms should have a strong background in the innovative design of telecommunications cabling infrastructure:
•    Approved methods of construction for safety to life and property. 
•    WAC 296-46b-010 
•    RCW 19.28.410 
•    Design, integrate, and implement telecommunications and data communications technology systems 
•    Design cabling systems for new buildings or changes to existing infrastructure 
•    Compliance with applicable standards and regulations 
•    Familiarity with fiber optic systems: knowledge of fiber optic networks and their implementation for high-speed, secure communications in a secure facility. 
•    Wi-fi and LAN design: capability in designing secure wi-fi systems, local area networks (LANs), and ethernet-based systems that meet the requirements of secure facilities.
