The Vendor is required to provide for document composition and distribution system.
- User Interface
• Provide an intuitive interface for designing layouts, merging data, and editing forms and content simultaneously.
- Form Editor Compatibility
• Support form creation based on artwork from PDF files, image files, and Word documents.
- Data Format Support
• Accept various text file formats, including comma-delimited, tab-delimited, fixed-width, and mainframe-exported text files.
• Enable easy linking and referencing of source data within the design layout.
- Real-Time Proofing
• Allow users to page through sample data files and preview output with an accurate visual representation of the final printed product.
- Automated Processing
• Detect print data in designated network folders (hot folders) and automatically initiate processing for:
• Print output (PostScript)
• Electronic output (PDF or TIFF with index file compatible with On Base, the County’s document storage system)
- Form Reusability
• Support importing existing forms or text from documents to develop new applications.
- High-Volume Processing
• Efficiently handle large volumes of records and output print streams without slowing down printer performance.
- Installation and configuration shall be completed within County’s environment.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
