The Vendor is required to provide regarding off-the-shelf investment management software and associated support services.
- The Airport’s current investment management software supports several critical modules, including:
• Base fixed income module: tracking, reporting, and accounting for the airport’s multi-billion-dollar investment portfolio.
• Earnings allocation module: assists in running an investment pool and allocating interest earnings to participant funds on an average daily balance basis.
• GL module: interfaces with the existing general ledger system to create journal entries and generates file extracts compatible with oracle gl.
• Cloud hosting services (3 licenses): provides a secure cloud environment including data backups, disaster recovery, site monitoring, and data storage for the current SymPro solution.
- Services include:
• Ability for the system to manage an internal investment pool with unlimited participating funds.
• Ability to run multiple internal investment pools.
• System can import an oracle custom export file of daily fund balances.
• System can allocate earnings to participating funds on an average daily balance basis.
• Multiple allocations (interest earnings, gains/losses, change in market value, amortizations/accretions) can be done in the same period.
• Ability to redirect allocations from one fund to another.
• Capability to allocate negative interest (fee) to funds with negative balances in pool.
• A standard export file is currently available in the system of allocation journal entries that can be generated for posting to department oracle gl.
• Journal entries can be generated by fund, asset class, investment class, investment type, or other grouping.
• Experience interfacing from another department system to oracle gl.
• Management of one or more internal investment pools with unlimited participating funds.
• Importing of oracle custom export files for daily fund balances.
• Allocation of earnings on an average daily balance basis.
• Ability to perform multiple allocation types in a single period (e.g., interest earnings, gains/losses, market value changes, and amortization/accretion).
• Support for redirection of allocations between funds.
• Allocation of negative interest (fees) to Funds with negative balances.
