The Vendor is required to provide a comprehensive software platform that will enable transportation authorities within the City to efficiently manage and analyze traffic-related data.
- Solution must consolidate traffic warrants and asset inventories into a single, centralized system eliminating the reliance on multiple platforms currently used.
- This integration must streamline access, improve traceability, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Traffic Engineering has also been storing data and assets information on several different platforms of GIS applications and Microsoft Office applications.
- The decision to upgrade, rebuild, or construct new infrastructure should be based on a comprehensive analysis of existing data. Such analysis supports a data-driven design that is justifiable and provides a solid foundation for future decisions. This process is greatly simplified when all existing data is stored within a single, centralized database.
- Enhance analysis and engineering judgement that is applied for traffic safety studies through a clear user interface that summarizes data in an unbiased and concise fashion;
- Optimize traffic flow by recognizing an issue, analyzing it, and recommending a solution;
- Consolidate, store, and manage: traffic warrants, all traffic control devices, infrastructure asset inventories, and collected data into a single software system that may use GIS capabilities;
- Streamline access to different types of data, including but not limited to speed, volume, and collision data to improve traceability and history of previous analysis for up to 5 years, and enhance operational efficiency;
- Maintain high data quality and support efficient decision-making through a comprehensive, centralized user interface within the software;
- Be cloud-based with centralized data storage to securely store, manage, and maintain various traffic datasets. The solution should include a detailed architectural overview, including component interconnections, installed software, data centers, disaster recovery sites, and firewall requirements;
- Provide full functioning software for usage by 20 users simultaneously.
- Provide quality control documentation that will be used to commission the software including: project tracking, documentation, performance testing, and issue management.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
- Questions/Inquires Deadline: December 3, 2025
