The Vendor is required to provide a modernized backup and disaster recovery solution that will work seamlessly together and can operate cohesively to ensure continuity and resilience.
- The County’s current Backup (BU) system and Disaster Recovery (DR) environment have reached the end of their lifecycle and Service Support contract end.

- Server DR Solution
• Hosted environment – Virtual in nature
• Ability to host 50% of current production environment
• Integration with major BU Systems
• RTO varied from <12 hours to <72 hours
• Regular testing of DR environment
- System Include:
• Solution must provide immutable backups;
• Solution must be able to backup and restore a virtualized VMWare environment;
• Solution must be able to backup and restore a virtualized HyperV environment;
• Solution must be able to backup and restore physical / bare metal servers running various OS;
• Ability to integrate with Entra ID (or Local Domain) for SSO (single sign-on); and
• County must retain ownership of all County-owned data during and post-contract periods.
• Solution(s) shall fully integrate with one another to provide a modernized, end-to-end Backup and Disaster Recovery Solution that functions cohesively and without interruption.
- The DR Solution will also include end-to-end encryption, role base access control and multi-factor authentication.
- The data will be encrypted, compressed and securely transferred to the backup storage solution.
- On-site support shall be next business day when support calls are placed prior to 3:00pm EST.
