The vendor required to provide hosted electronic medical record (EMR) software solution is needed for the following purposes:
• Record, organize, edit, and manage client medical records;
• Assessment forms;
• Appointments details;
• Medication ordering and dispensing;
• Clinical notes;
• Test scheduling;
• Lab reports;
• Assisting with contacting clients.
- Solution overview
• The solution shall provide all functionality through a web browser interface from the hosted environment for managing electronic medical records, user actions and automated processes and workflows.
• An application programming interface (API) should be included as part of the solution.
- User interface functionality
• Manage client profiles
• Schedule client appointments in one of five clinics, or outreach locations
• Enter personal health information, including medical histories
• Enter appointment details, examination results, test results, and treatment records
• Upload program service schedules and guides, scanned documents, lab reports, forms, and photos
• Manage medication inventories, ordering and dispensing
• Complete financial reporting and invoice generation (h) search in notes sections of client records
• Use reporting features for client visits, demographics, test results (i.e., STI positivity rates), etc.
• Support laboratories information system integration with the solution
• Validate and summarize data for completeness and quality and apply corrections as needed.
• Provide region staff with administrative functionality to manage all solution configuration without requiring additional supplier support.
- Application programmer interface (API) functionality
• The user interface, the solution should provide an API using a secure representational state transfer (REST) service interface, or other web service protocol, that supports general read operations for clinic record access and auditing, and other solution functionality as part of the user operation of the solution.
• The region may access data from the solution using the API through a data warehouse environment to support clinic performance reporting and other needs.
