Software, Development and Maintenance Services

The vendor required to provide software development, technical support, maintenance, and ongoing support services.
- Transition
•    Complete transition activities from the incumbent contractor within six (6) months after the contract effective date and to commence performance of all operational functions with successful achievement of all performance measures for tiers software development and maintenance (SDM). 
•    The transition phase will be complete when agency approves the contractor’s transition readiness assessment results report.
- Operations
•    The operations phase will commence upon completion of the transition phase. 
•    The contractor will support operations and coordinate with agency on any modifications to existing applications. 
•    Contractor will perform all tiers SDM operations phase services and work with agency to plan and execute ongoing initiatives to align with centers for Medicaid and medicare services (CMS) and food and nutrition services (FNS) architecture and advanced technology frameworks.
- Turnover
•    Turnover includes all activities necessary to ensure continuous availability of services while the contractor is transferring operational responsibility to either agency or agency designated resources. 
•    The turnover phase and contract closeout will begin six (6) months prior to the end of the contract term, which may include optional renewal periods. 
•    If agency elects to terminate the contract, the contractor must complete turnover within three (3) months of agency notice of termination. 
•    Turnover includes the administrative and operational activities performed by the contractor in order to transition operations to either agency designee.
