Passenger and Operator Display Systems

The vendor required to passenger information display systems (PIDS) and operator display systems supplied by various manufacturers across the globe.
- The contract includes, but is not limited to the design, manufacture, testing, delivery, and support of TOD, LED, and LCD signage systems, including all associated control equipment (hardware and software).
- Applicable standards
•    IEEE 1558-2004 – software documentation for rail equipment and systems 
•    IEC 62443/NIST SP 800 – cybersecurity for industrial and control systems 
•    EN 50155/EN 61373/IEC 60068 – environmental and vibration testing for railway electronics 
•    EN 50121-3-2 – electromagnetic compatibility for rolling stock 
•    Ipc-a-610, j-std-001, IPC and whma-a-620, ipc-1792 – electronic workmanship and secure manufacturing 
•    Iso 9001 – quality management system
- Integration expectation
•    Existing and replacement systems shall be form, fit, and function compatible with existing authority hardware and software, and capable of direct installation into any authority fleet vehicle.
- Obsolescence support
•    Provide obsolescence support for all equipment for a duration as defined by the authority. 
•    Support shall include the identification of qualified alternate materials and the completion of qualification testing as necessary to ensure that replacement materials conform to the functional and reliability requirements for each component.
- Cybersecurity commitment
•    All deliverables including, but not limited to hardware, firmware, and software – must adhere to modern cybersecurity practices, with no open debug ports, undocumented access, or unverified update paths.
