The Vendor is required to provide looking to engage the services of an educational software provider to deliver a secure, customizable, web-based product to manage faculty information for the purpose of the Annual Faculty Report (AFR).
- The university's urban location allows university students, faculty, and staff to actively engage with and serve the community through academic programs like nursing and education, research into complex urban issues, and the creativity and innovation that come with a diverse student body and devoted faculty.
- Services include:
• Provide secure storage of faculty activity data and related files.
• Provide ability to import data from approximately 2500 current user records, including historical data.
• Provide ability to import data into scheduled teaching fields prior to the start of each review cycle.
• Provide self-service reporting tools, ad-hoc reports, and out-of-the-box reports for accreditors (including Association).
• Provide utilities, web services, and application program interfaces (APls) to manage users and data.
• Provide workflow component for review process, including review comments from deans, department chairs, department personnel committee chair, and faculty member under review.
• Provide unlimited configuration of data collection screens and fields.
• Provide unlimited configuration of full-service reports (Word, Excel and PDF).
• Provide support for troubleshooting and maintenance during regular business hours. Please provide all SLAs incorporated into your terms of service.
• Provide a designated customer service manager with designated back-up and escalation process.

• Provide university's system administrators with the ability to activate, deactivate, and reactivate users at their discretion without losing historical data.
• Provide the ongoing ability to rename, add, and remove colleges and departments.
- The system must capture and keep secure the following functionalities/data:
• General information: Personal and contact information; administrative data (permanent and yearly); awards and honors; education; external connections and partnerships; professional development; licensures and certifications; professional memberships.
• Teaching: Academic advising; Directed student learning; Non-credit instruction taught; Scheduled teaching; community engaged teaching.
• Scholarship/Research: Artistic and professional performances and exhibits; contracts, fellowships, grants and sponsored research; intellectual contributions; intellectual property; presentations; research currently in progress; community engaged scholarship research.
• Service: Department; college; university; professional; public; community engaged service.
• Review: Review comments and archive (review workflow and ability to upload documents).
• Have capability to have more than one administrator comment in a faculty file as many faculty teach in multiple colleges.
- The service must be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, with exceptions for scheduled downtime for maintenance or a force majeure event.
- University IT System/ Software Interface: A plan for providing the necessary interface with university PeopleSoft systems in order to accept initial data load and periodic future data uploads into the AFR system;
- Incumbent System/ Software Interface: A plan for accepting raw data and associated fields from the incumbent to build the AFR system.
