Infrastructure Communications Failure Systems

The Vendor is required to provide for infrastructure communications failure systems.
- Services include:
•    Support the following telephone Nortel/Avaya equipment: Norstar mics 0x32, norstar compact ICS, NAM voicemail, call pilot 100/150 voicemail systems and BCM series telecommunication systems.
•    Supply non-gray-market or refurbished Nortel/Avaya parts from an authorized Avaya reseller.
•    Notify the school site’s principal and the c & e department to initiate the required fire watch procedures (if repairs require the phone system to be inoperative for more than four hours).
•    Install, troubleshoot, and repair security systems and the associated infrastructure, allowing for the notification of possible "life safety conditions", to the agency security watch center.
•    Maintain the automated direct communication circuits to: the county emergency dispatch center (911), police department (911), temple terrace police department (emergency services), plant city police department, and the agency transportation emergency response center.
•    Have access to manufacturer’s repair parts and must be able to purchase Nortel/Avaya parts from an authorized Nortel/Avaya reseller, as well as, security products.
•    Install and maintain copper cable wiring and fiber optic infrastructure to include the installation of cat 5e and cat 6 data networks.
•    Be capable of working in extreme outdoor weather conditions, lift items weighing 40 pounds, and safely use ladders, lifts, and power equipment.
