Outage Management System and Field Operations Solution

The Vendor is required to provide for an enterprise electric distribution Outage Management System (OMS) and related field operations solutions to support reliable electric service and efficient restoration activities.
- Improve outage visibility, coordination between operations and field crews, system integration, and communication during outage events.
- Solution should support outage tracking, outage management, field mobility, live outage tracing, GIS integration, AMI integration, outage mapping, system integrations, electric distribution system modeling, text notifications, and reporting, along with implementation, onsite training, and ongoing support.
- This project will be procured through a competitive process, and the City is interested in solutions that are proven, scalable, and well-suited for electric utility operations.
- The goal is to support efficient day-to-day operations and effective response during major outage events with a reliable, easy-to-use platform.
- The solution must include mobile and field-based functionality to support field crews, including access to system data, mapping, outage information, and field notes. Field users should be able to view and update outage-related information from mobile devices as appropriate.
- Also includes integration with Geographic Information System (GIS) data to support accurate network visualization, tracing, and analysis. Successful Respondent must support integration with existing utility systems, which may include GIS, AMI, customer information systems, and other operational platforms. Data conversion and migration services required for implementation must be included.
- The solution shall support customer and personnel notifications related to outages and restoration activities. This may include configurable notifications through multiple communication channels, as well as administrative tools to manage notification workflows.
