The Vendor is required to provide legal services to the city retirement system, including, but not limited to:
• Provide legal advice and guidance to the city retirement board on various retirement issues, legal challenges, problems, etc.
• Assist the board with formulation and review of city retirement system procedures, policies, legal forms, etc.
• Represent the system and board, as needed, at all retirement system related hearings, court appearances, arbitrations, lawsuits, etc.
• Review, as needed, of city employee retirement applications.
• Investigation and review of city employee retirement disputes.
• All other legal work and representation that can be expected for state retirement system issues.
