The Vendor is required to provide internet and telephone voting system platform accessible through two (2) integrated voting options:
• Internet voting system (the "internet voting system") accessible via the internet; and
• Telephone voting system ("the telephone voting system") accessible via a local or toll free telephone number.
- The complete voting platform, incorporating both the internet and telephone voting system options (collectively "the solution"), must be capable of providing high service availability for all eligible voters, scaling to meet the demands of peak voting times, and completing the tabulation of results promptly after the legislated close of voting on the final voting day.
- The solution should utilize a one-step voter authentication model.
- The solution shall be fully cloud hosted by the supplier, and include the provision and management of all communications and storage infrastructure to ensure a secure, reliable, and effective solution.
- Voting day
• On voting day, the solution will be shut down at 8:00pm, with the exception of the voting assistance centers where the election officials will shut down the devices after 8:00pm once all the voters in the center have finished voting.
• The closure of the centers, votes will be tabulated, and the township will display unofficial results on various media channels.
- Voting information letters
• The township, be responsible for the production of voter information letters (the VIL's) and envelopes, and postal mailing through county post for all registered voters with information needed to vote.
