RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide a distinctive, community-based approach to medical education designed to meet the healthcare needs agency.
- Relies on multiple systems (e.g., MyProgress, Empower) to manage curriculum mapping, evaluations, student information, and registration.
- Provide an integrated medical education software solution that: consolidates core functions; supports problem-based and case-driven instructional methods; facilitates curriculum management and faculty coordination; ensures consistent access for students; and strengthens compliance and reporting. Implementing such a solution will allow agency to continue its tradition of educational innovation while providing a scalable, sustainable platform that supports practice-ready physicians
- The system should facilitate the creation, delivery, and analysis of evaluations and assessments that align with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes, ensuring accurate measurement of educational effectiveness and continuous quality improvement. It should provide flexible tools to collect quantitative and qualitative feedback, monitor progress, and generate reports, and support institutional and accreditation requirements.
- Student Assessment:  An application to create, administer, schedule and grade evaluations/assessments, aligned with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.  Additionally, the application provides the ability to reliably collect, report on, and depict relevant performance information to support each student’s individual understanding of their growth and achievement.
- System must support distributed grade entry by faculty and clerkship directors, with automated reminders for overdue grades.
- The system must:
•    Allow role-based configuration of required evaluations   and associated deadlines.
•    Generate automated alerts and reminders when evaluations remain incomplete past defined thresholds.
•    Provide user-level dashboards and to-do lists showing pending evaluations.
•    Provide administrator-level dashboards showing   completion status by student, faculty member, course, department, and role.
•    Generate exportable reports displaying compliance percentages by department, user, course, and role for accreditation and review purposes.
•    Support role-based task assignment and visibility controls (e.g., student evaluator, faculty evaluator, course administrator).
•    Ability to create, customize, schedule, and automate/auto generate evaluation surveys for faculty members from an existing schedule that syncs with calendars and faculty data.
•    Capability to include feedback from multiple sources and mechanisms for faculty to respond to feedback.
•    Ability to monitor timeliness of grades and send automated reminders to faculty.
