Electronic Warrant Software

The Vendor is required to provide for an Electronic Warrant software system that digitizes and automates the process of obtaining and executing search warrants, allowing law enforcement to submit applications and magistrates to review and approve them electronically, often using computers, smartphones, or tablets. 
- The new system shall be a complete software replacement of our current in-house Warrant database.
- System Requirements
•    Standalone electronic warrant functionality
•    Different warrant templates and/or the ability to create templates
•    Configurable workflows, including a rejection workflow
•    Integrated recorded video conferencing for oath and affirmation
•    Secure digital signatures with the ability to place the city municipal court seal on documents signed by a magistrate
•    Ability to lock the document (i.e., converting it to .pdf format) after the magistrate’s signature has been added so that the warrant or affidavit cannot be edited later
•    Record access and retention management
•    Tracking, auditing and reporting capabilities with timestamps including the ability to generate the date and time a search warrant is issued
•    The program will generate all documents in compliance with state law, meet CJIS compliance, and meet government data security and encryption standards
•    Backup storage guarantees
•    System customization, including user preference settings, user management and permissions
•    Mobile application compatibility (please specify supported platforms, e.g., iOS, android, windows)
•    Ability to print to a barcode printer with the free3of9.ttf font
•    Integration with jail and courts processes and compatibility with JMS to generate transfer warrants from the jail.
