The Vendor is required to provide for software as a service based subscription for the statewide volunteer registry.
- The system must be consistent with emergency system for advance registration of volunteer health professionals (ESAR-VHP) standards and be able to verify and maintain volunteer information such as identity, licensing, credentialing, accreditation, privileging in hospitals or other health facilities, and background checks.
- Goals
• Maintain a statewide volunteer registry system that is consistent with ESAR-VHP standards and includes readily available, verifiable, current information regarding volunteer identity, licensing, credentialing, accreditation, privileging in hospitals or other health facilities, and background checks
• Identify and rapidly mobilize health professional volunteers during emergencies and disasters
• Enable the secure sharing of health volunteer information between regions and states
- Software/system must include the following information and capabilities:
• Identify verification
• Background check module
• Licensing
• Credentialing
• Accreditation
• Privileging in hospitals and other medical facilities
• Compatible with reading and outputting .csv files
- Provide the following services:
• Provide facilities, hardware, and networking maintenance
• Provide scheduled updates, including emergency security updates as necessary
• Maintain a duplicate (“backup”) record of data
• Provide routine and emergency support services for access, data retrieval, and other similar issues to include telephone, problem assistance, and software updates
• Provide after-hours support services limited to emergency scenarios during disaster response
