The Vendor is required to provide a turn-key Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone system solution to replace the District’s existing phone infrastructure.
- The District prefers an on-premises hosted system based on 3CX or a fully compatible equivalent platform, capable of supporting a large K-12 enterprise environment.
- Provide all hardware, software, licensing, configuration, installation, training, documentation, and post-implementation support necessary for full deployment and operation
- Solution must:
• Be on-premises hosted or hybrid on-premises–first architecture
• Be 3CX or fully compatible equivalent
• Support 1,500 extensions minimum
• Support 200+ concurrent calls
• Support SIP trunking integration
• Provide centralized administrative management
• Provide failover and redundancy options
• Support paging, intercom, and call routing features
• Provide voicemail, call queues, IVR, and auto attendants
• Support integration with district network infrastructure
- The system must include Enhanced 911 functionality:
• Ability to assign location data down to room level
• Integration with emergency notification requirements
• Ability to update location data dynamically
• Compliance with all applicable Act requirements
- Must support:
• Standard VoIP desk phones
• Expansion button modules
• Wireless VoIP handsets (Wi-Fi capable)
• Softphone clients (desktop and mobile)
• Conference phones where required
