The Vendor is required to provide a course-sharing platform to improve student access, retention, expand our catalogs, and recover revenue.
- Requirements
• Able to participate in a course sharing consortia available through the platform to facilitate cross registration and bilateral agreements with other institutions to enable institutions courses to be transcript as university own (not transfer course enrollments) in compliance with higher education accreditation standards.
• Must be able to participate as a “home institution” to source available course sections from a nationwide course sharing network of hundreds of institutional partners.
• Must be able to “recommend” course sections to approved students and maintain institutional control and oversight over the course sections selected through the platform by its students.
• Must be able to leverage a student app for its students to select from a secondary catalog of course sections that university opts to make available for a specific term.
• Must be able to participate as a “teaching institution” to offer enrollment opportunities in available course sections to a nationwide course sharing network of institutions.
• Must be able to set capacity in the course section(s) being shared.
• Must be able to set pricing (including the ability to set variable pricing) for the course sections offered as a “teaching institution”.
• Must be able to leverage enrollment demand for university course sections offered to the course sharing network, if desired, from non-higher education partners, such as employee benefits companies, high schools seeking dual enrollment options, and other industry partners.
