- User-friendly product that will garner more use and support from university researchers and students alike.
- This software will replace the existing Funding Institutional software.
- The software must:
•    Be specifically designed for academic institutions with high levels of research.
•    Use specialized data-crawling technology that consistently updates to locate new funding opportunities from sponsors.
•    Use an integration approach that integrates researcher profiles into the funding search process to ensure the search is accurate and applicable to academic researchers.
•    Uses ORCID individual researcher profiles paired with natural language processing to find funding opportunities that match researcher needs.
- Software must access large databases which must be continuously updated and notify researchers of the most relevant funding sources.
