The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive retention and student success solutions designed to proactively identify, support, and retain at-risk students from enrollment through graduation.
- Objectives of this engagement are to:
o Proactively identify students at risk of non-persistence using data-informed predictive analytics.
o Generate a persistence score and risk classification to guide institutional decision-making.
o Prioritize services, interventions, and resources to achieve the greatest return on investment (ROI).
o Connect students to timely and appropriate support at critical academic and life transition points.
o Provide actionable insights and practical recommendations that lead to measurable gains in retention and graduation rates.
o Support university in developing and executing a data-informed, full-lifecycle student success strategy including a written plan, dashboards, modeling, as needed.

o Identify institutional, academic, and non-academic factors most strongly associated with student persistence and attrition.
o Ensure compliance with FERPA, institutional data governance standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Predictive Modeling and Risk Identification
o Develop and maintain a student retention/persistence predictor model.
o Assign individual persistence scores and risk classifications that are interpretable and actionable for campus stakeholders.
o Identify high-impact risk indicators and protective factors at various points in the student lifecycle (e.g., entry, first-year transition, major milestones, stop-out risk, junior/senior completion).
o Allow for periodic model refinement as new data and outcomes are observed.
- Dashboards, Reporting, and Decision Support
o Provide secure, role-based model/dashboards and reporting tools that allow university to:
o Monitor persistence and risk trends over time.
o Segment students by risk level, population, program, or milestone.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support services.
o Dashboards should support executive leadership, enrollment management, academic affairs, advising, and student support units.
o Reports should be exportable and suitable for internal planning, accreditation, and leadership briefings.
- Intervention Prioritization and Resource Allocation
o Support university in prioritizing interventions based on risk level, capacity, and expected impact.
o Assist with setting measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with retention and completion outcomes.
o Provide guidance on allocating institutional resources where they will have the greatest impact on student success.
- Implementation Support and Continuous Improvement
o Provide on-site and/or remote consulting visits to support design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of retention strategies.
