The Vendor is required to provide for a hosted digital psychoeducational assessment platform and assessment library that enables district staff to administer, score, interpret, and manage standardized assessments used in special education evaluations.
- The platform should provide a comprehensive digital assessment library and scoring system that allows agency school psychologists, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), occupational therapists (OTs), and other qualified staff to conduct psychoeducational assessments and generate reports required for special education eligibility determinations and reevaluations.
- The goal of the digital assessment platform is to increase the District’s capacity to efficiently administer and score standardized assessments, generate reports, and support legally required evaluation processes for students suspected of having disabilities or currently receiving special education services.
- The system should enable District staff to administer assessments digitally, perform automated scoring and interpretation, and produce standardized reports that support Individualized Education Program (IEP) evaluation documentation.
- Department currently utilizes the Pearson Digital Assessment Library for Schools (DALS), a digital platform that provides integrated administration, scoring, and reporting of standardized psychoeducational assessments.
- The District is issuing this Request for Proposals to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a comparable or superior solution that meets the District’s assessment administration, scoring, and reporting needs.
- Digital Assessment Platform Functional Requirements
• Access to a comprehensive digital assessment library containing standardized cognitive, academic, behavioral, neuropsychological, developmental, speech-language, and motor assessments.
• Digital administration capabilities where supported by the assessment publisher.
• Automated scoring and interpretation of assessment results.
• Generation of standardized score reports suitable for psychoeducational evaluation reports and IEP documentation.
• Integrated scoring and reporting workflows that allow results to be compiled and formatted for direct use in psychoeducational reports.
• Access to digital stimulus books, digital manuals, scoring protocols, and printable forms/resources where applicable.
• Support for tablet-based or web-based administration.
• Secure storage and management of student assessment data in compliance with FERPA and applicable laws.
• The system must support use by multiple disciplines including school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
• The platform shall provide licensed access to assessments through a subscription or similar model that allows authorized users to administer and score assessments without requiring individual test purchases.
