Transit Management System Software

The Vendor is required to provide transit management system software and services for include:
- Transit management software (TMS)
•    Fixed route planning, design, and analysis functions 
•    Fixed route service schedule generation, management and publishing 
•    Driver scheduling, including bidding processes, vehicle and route assignments, and substitutions 
•    Publication of GTFS static and real-time data 
•    Supervisor functions such as real-time vehicle location, schedule compliance, vehicle occupancy, and driver-generated alerts 
•    Diagnostic and system status alerts (communication failures, subsystem errors, etc.) 
•    Customer-facing applications for route planning, fare payment, service changes, SMS alerts, and other functions. 
•    Integration with roadside bus arrival signs, on-board signs, and annunciators 
•    Integration with via transportation’s paratransit management platform and city mapper, which are used for on-demand services by get. 
•    System hosting (customer data center, vendor data center, cloud, etc.) options with information about functional and cost considerations. 
•    Accessibility of administrator, operator, and public facing software.
- GPS and automatic vehicle location (AVL)
•    The hardware solution that is used on the vehicle 
•    System performance (accuracy, frequency of updates, etc.) is monitored and ensured.
•    The interfaces to other systems such as automatic passenger counters, fare collection, and transit management software packages. 
•    Geofence functions to enable automatic playback of messages from annunciator systems 
•    Unique or innovative features or approaches to AVL systems
- Automatic passenger counters (APC)
•    Integrate with the existing APCs
•    If integration is not possible, what replacement technology you can provide,
•    Collect APC data integrate it with other system performance data and what reporting tools are available.
- Fare collection systems
•    Get vehicles are equipped with genfare fast fare cash, magnetic stripe, and bar code validation. There are no plans to replace these systems, although conversion to a fare free system is under consideration. 
•    Interface with genfare hardware and system software for both driver interfaces and reporting.
- Mobile applications
•    The travel planning features and capabilities of mobile applications
•    Application platform compatibility and mobile device requirements
•    Alert and service message features
•    Payment features
•    Ability to integrate with non-fixed route services, such as micro mobility, parking, paratransit, and ride share providers.
