The Vendor is required to provide transit management system software and services for include:
- Transit management software (TMS)
• Fixed route planning, design, and analysis functions
• Fixed route service schedule generation, management and publishing
• Driver scheduling, including bidding processes, vehicle and route assignments, and substitutions
• Publication of GTFS static and real-time data
• Supervisor functions such as real-time vehicle location, schedule compliance, vehicle occupancy, and driver-generated alerts
• Diagnostic and system status alerts (communication failures, subsystem errors, etc.)
• Customer-facing applications for route planning, fare payment, service changes, SMS alerts, and other functions.
• Integration with roadside bus arrival signs, on-board signs, and annunciators
• Integration with via transportation’s paratransit management platform and city mapper, which are used for on-demand services by get.
• System hosting (customer data center, vendor data center, cloud, etc.) options with information about functional and cost considerations.
• Accessibility of administrator, operator, and public facing software.
