Fully Mobile Virtual Reality Training System Supply and Set-Up

The Vendor is required to provide fully mobile virtual reality (VR) training system supply and set-up to conduct training sessions using technology that realistically simulates the activities cadets engage in as police officers, including, but not limited to, crime scene investigation, active shooter, de-escalation, armed encounters, domestic disputes, building clearing, etc.
- Requirements
•    The VR training system unit furnished under these specifications shall be new 2026 unit of the latest improved model in current production as offered to the commercial trade
•    Provide set-up and installation of unit being bid at the police academy building. 
•    Minimum functional requirements:
o    Ability to integrate the cadets own service weapon and devices
o    Custom scenario creator
o    Mapping capabilities and operator sketch tool and ability to use real-world locations
o    Post-scenario de-briefing capabilities
o    Supports single and multiple users
o    WI-FI and internet not required
o    Day, night, and NVG environments
o    Large TV (monitor) for debrief viewing
o    Sensors and cartridges -
o    External role-player capabilities
o    Limited peripherals (i.e., no tripod cameras or backpacks)
o    Domestic disputes active shooter
o    Armed encounters pursuit or ambush situations
o    De-escalation hostage negotiations
o    Autism encounters tactical planning
o    Mental health traffic stops
o    Crime scene visualization calls for service and use of force
o    Building clearing
•    Support and maintenance
1. Serviceability
o    Country based parts and service availability.
o    Routine maintenance guidelines provided.
o    Remote diagnostics capability preferred.
o    Updates and new features at no additional cost while under a service agreement.
o    Access to software and hardware technologies and upgrades
o    Service agreement (minimum 3 years)
2. Training
o    Four (4) hours of on-site training for staff must be provided within 2 business days from receipt of unit.
o    Easy-to-follow documentation and video tutorials.
o    Operator training on-site for two (2) hours – same time as other scheduled training.
