Health Records and Charting Software

The Vendor is required to provide health records and charting software to identify solutions that support the secure documentation, management, reporting, and analysis of student health information, including clinical visits, medication administration, care plans, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Requirement:
•    Align with applicable k–12 student health documentation standards and best practices, including secure recordkeeping, clinical charting, and reporting requirements for school based health services. 
•    Ensure full functionality on current and future versions of macos, as well as web-based access where applicable, to support district technology environments. 
•    Provide digital access licenses for authorized students and staff, with role-based permissions to protect sensitive health information.
•    Include comprehensive health documentation and charting tools, such as student visit records, medication administration logs, care plans, immunization tracking, and health screenings. 
•    Allow for secure export and download of records and reports, including pdf formats, to support compliance, reporting, and record retention requirements. 
•    Provide professional development and training for nursing staff and other authorized users to support effective system implementation and ongoing use. 
•    Ability to email directly from the system to outside. 
•    Provide ongoing technical support for staff using the health records and charting system, including troubleshooting, updates, and system maintenance. 
•    Provide cost and process for the migration of data from the current Edu-health system to the new one. 
•    Be PowerSchool compliant. 
•    Board directive- the district’s four high schools are organized in a college and career pathway model. 
•    A key component of this model is work-based learning for students. The board of education directed on march 23, 2021 that every vendor contracting with the district provide some form of work-based learning opportunities for students. 
•    These opportunities could include, as examples, guest speaking, real-world projects, job shadowing, mentorships or internships. 
•    The work-based learning opportunities form is attached to be completed and submitted to meet this requirement.
