The Vendor is required to provide modernized education data management system for an end-to-end integrated education data system built from commercial-off-the-shelf (“cots”) and open-source components.
- The new system will centralize data submissions to the state on multiple education domains including, but not limited to:
• K-12 and early education student enrollment and demographics
• District course offerings
• Student program participation (including programs not supported in the current system)
• Student course-taking
• Student disciplinary incidents
• Student attendance
• Student assessment results

• Data system modernization through the establishment of a high-performing data ecosystem by transitioning to a resilient enterprise cloud-based architecture.
• Streamlined management of the environment to ensure the infrastructure is optimized for reliability, security, and administrative efficiency.
• Increasing department capacity to support the current and future data needs by building a flexible framework for new data collections.
• Improving the end-user experience by ensuring data processes are intuitive, effective, and adaptable to evolving policy requirements.
• Minimizing department custom extensions and reliance on fragmented legacy structures by creating a standardized environment.
• Providing greater value and transparency to department, schools, organizations and the public.
• Ensuring the system is future-proof and able to maintain a perpetual state of readiness for version updates.
