Volunteer Management System

The Vendor is required to provide volunteer management system solution shall enable the state to recruit, vet, track, mobilize and deploy volunteers in support of emergency and non-emergency missions.
- Requirement:
•    A technology solution that addresses the business need(s);
o    An alerting and management system capable of tracking volunteers via data entered manually (or migrated from previous system)
o    Secure, web-based access for VDH employees, partners, and volunteers
o    Volunteer registration, approval, and credentialing processes
o    Periodic automatic verification of entered license information
o    Tiered levels of administrative control to delineate statewide and regional administrators
o    Calendar or listing of volunteer activities being recruited for
o    Query and reporting tools at administrator and regional levels that can pull from within and across organizations and volunteer units
o    Volunteer license verification via external interface(s)

•    Prefer saas solution with high-level performance, maintenance, support, security, and disaster hardened capabilities 
•    Must have separate, persistent, and dedicated test and production environments 
•    Secure access to existing, legacy data if applicable o preferably via migration to new solution 
•    Professional services for project management to manage the implementation of the technology solution;
•    Professional services to perform technical work in support of the implementation; 
•    Professional services for maintenance and support of the implemented technology.
