EL Education ELA Curriculum Materials and Digital Platform

The Vendor is required to provide physical instructional materials and a corresponding digital platform that support the implementation of the EL Education English Language Arts (ELA) Curriculum for grades 6–8.
- Provide materials and services that support effective teaching and learning while ensuring alignment between physical instructional materials and the associated digital platform.
 - Objective is to ensure that all teachers and students have access to high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials and digital tools that maintain the integrity and fidelity of the EL Education curriculum.
- Outcomes
•    A user-friendly digital platform that aligns completely with the physical EL Education curriculum materials
•    Digital content that maintains the fidelity, structure, and instructional integrity of the EL Education curriculum
•    A platform that allows teachers and students to easily navigate, access, and utilize curriculum resources
•    Materials and tools that support effective implementation across all District schools
•    Access to resources that support family engagement and multilingual learners

•    All required printed instructional materials necessary to implement the EL Education ELA curriculum
•    Teacher guides and instructional materials
•    Student workbooks and consumables
•    Required novels, trade books, and anchor texts
•    Assessment materials aligned with the EL Education curriculum
•    Materials that maintain the original structure and sequence of EL Education modules, units, and lessons
- Digital Platform
•    Align fully with the physical EL Education curriculum materials
•    Provide access to digital versions of curriculum materials
•    Maintain the instructional sequence and integrity of EL Education modules and lessons
•    Be user-friendly for both students and educators
•    Be accessible through commonly used web browsers
•    Support Classlink for single sign-on and rostering
•    Be compatible with Chromebooks, and other classroom devices such as Windows PCs
- Software Platform Specifications
•    Be user-friendly for teachers and students
•    Provide the ability to access materials online and in printable formats
•    Provide accessibility features to support diverse learners
•    Provide accessibility features for multiple languages preferred
- The platform should also support accessibility features including:
•    Text-to-speech
•    Screen reader compatibility
•    Other accessibility features that support students with disabilities.
•    The platform must allow educators to customize or adapt digital materials where appropriate, including the ability to translate or modify content to support multilingual learners and diverse classroom needs.
•    Vendors must be prepared to provide physical samples of proposed materials, upon request, and to ship them to alternate locations designated by the District.
