Building Automation Systems

The Vendor is required to provide for a carrier building automation systems (BAS) Support Services.
- Responsible for maintaining a portfolio of approximately 180 buildings, including offices, fire houses, police division offices, and equipment shops, that house various city activities.
- Provide routine, Carrier-based building automation systems maintenance, repair, and support services.
- The City also maintains cultural facilities, including museums and arenas that serve as venues for sports, entertainment, and other events.
- A full-time service office located within a 50-mile radius of central city.
- Emergency services available 24 hours a day 365 days a year by a qualified technician. Response time expected is one-hour by phone and two-hour onsite.
- At least two technicians must hold Carrier Encompass Systems Gold (ES Gold) Certification for a minimum of three years.
- IP Networking
•    IP addressing schemes including CLASS A and CLASS B networks
•    Complete understanding of network subnetting practices
•    Network port classifications and configurations
•    MAC Addressing and port locking via MAC address
•    CAT 6 Cable limitations including distances and loads
