The Vendor is required to provide requires 3 servers for cryptography and privacy research.
- Services include:
• Networking configuration: All servers require independent admin gigabit (or better) interfaces for operating system login access via SSH. Additionally, 100Gbit ethernet (or better) high-performance networking for shared data.
• Remote management: All servers must have network interfaces (shared preferred) for remote BMC systems. BMCs must support IPMI 2.0 or newer standards.
• Warranty: Servers must be warrantied for a minimum of three years on all components. Depot warranty is sufficient but cross-ship/next-day options are attractive
• Physical: Server hardware must fit standard 19” width racks. Long depth servers acceptable
• Power: Servers must support standard server-class 208V power via C13/C14 or C19/C20 power connections. Cables to be included (lengths to be negotiated).
• Licensed software: The solution must include perpetual licenses for any proprietary software included.
• All System components must meet the research application requirements and must be new.
- A strategic integration of research and teaching excellence, the world’s largest co-operative education program, entrepreneurship-intensive programs, and creator-owned IP, has resulted in extensive industry collaboration, the generation of thousands of commercial and social enterprises, and a dynamic learning experience for more than 42,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
- Configuration of each solution element:
• CPU configuration: Dual socket, minimum 72 cores/ 144 threads per CPU. Minimum 2.7GHz processor base frequency. Preference is for clock speeds over core count. CPU and BIOS must support AVX512 instructions and SGX2 with Flexible Launch Control and EPC sizes of at least 8GB per CPU. The CPU must also support Speed Select Technology - Performance Profile.
• RAM configuration: Each system must have with a minimum of 1 TB RAM installed and retain sufficient vacant DIMM slots to support an upgrade to a minimum of 2 TB total system memory. The memory upgrade must be possible through addition of DIMMs, not replacement of provided DIMMs. Additional RAM is preferred over any other attribute over the minima.
• Storage configuration: One 1TB-class NVMe device OS drive required and one 7.68TB-class (or better) NVMe device.
• Networking: Dual-port, 100Gbit ethernet (or better), RoCE, iWarp, DCDB, VXLAN, NVGRE and Geneve capable.
• GPU compatibility: Each server must be capable of supporting at least one 600W GPU. Must be compatible with GPUs of a CUDA compute capability of 9.0 or higher and more than 140GB of VRAM. A GPU should not be provided.
