The Vendor is required to provide software for concerts and large-scale events.
- The software platform will provide customer facing and staff interface ticket sales, cancellations, refunds and payments for Concerts, sporting events and other large-scale events.
- A new software platform is envisaged to permit online ticket sales, facilitate payments with a focus on ease of use for the public, fluid management and oversight by staff and appropriate reporting functionality.
- This software must be able to accommodate mobile ticketing / scanning for high volume events.
- The goal of this software is to:
• Provide simple publicly accessible electronic access for purchase, and payments for concerts and large-scale events.
• Provide reporting in Excel or CSV format including the detailed breakdown of charges, date of event, and applicable GST.
• Provide compatibility with all common browsers, with fast loading speeds. Ensure support for all devices including desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
• Provide service that is compliant with WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards and strive to meet W3C guidelines for content and accessibility.
• Provide functionality in compliance with the requirements of Act.
• Provide ability to add / remove users as required for administrators of system with a minimum of five (5) admin roles. Advise if there is a limit to how many users can be added, levels of access available (administrator, user, etc.) and any pricing considerations associated.
• Site content to be in English with the ability to translate pages to French by the user.
• The system must be able to accommodate need for season tickets, packages, donations, membership’s holds/kill seats/production kills and house seats, complimentary tickets as well as merchandise and add-on sales.
• Queueing for high-demand on-sales and ensuring the system is robust and can handle a high volume of buyers at during peak demand.
• Ability to message / email all patrons who purchased tickets for events through applicable software.
• All features to be ad free with the ability to add advertisements if desired by the venue / City.
• Ability to integrate video content and photos for event marketing, and social media integration.
