The Vendor is required to provide web-based solution to the district that can directly assist IEP teams in the development of curriculum standards-based IEP goals and learning objectives for students to enhance the quality of writing rigorous and meaningful individualized education programs (IEPS).
- Requirement:
1. IEP development:
• Improve student outcomes by increasing teacher effectiveness throughout the coordination of IEP development that is student centered in order ensure the acceleration of learning for students with disabilities,
• Support educators in creating comprehensive and compliant IEPS by providing tools for developing data-driven present level statements and connecting student needs to measurable goals,
• Develop teacher capacity to write higher-quality IEPS given explicit criteria to implement student services that are aligned to effective specially designed instruction.
2. Instructional planning:
• Guide teachers successfully to select a range of research-based instructional tools and strategies and classroom ready resources that supports the ability to target student performance including:
o Design differentiated instruction aligned with state standards
o Access scaffolded strategies for multiple learning levels
o Modify grade-level curriculum for diverse learners
o Support universal design for learning (UDL)
• Allow teachers and administrators to monitor progress with instant access to student level results data, including:
o Data dashboards for teachers and administrators
o Reporting tools to support compliance and evaluation
• Provide assessments and a present level of performance tool to help identify areas of regression and urgent needs for skill recoupment, including essential standard areas,
• Support the development of skills based and standards aligned IEP goals with the appropriate levels of scaffolding to support both recoupment and growth.
• Deliver classroom-ready resources and strategies that support planning and the delivery of specially designed instruction in both classroom and remote environments.
3. System implementation and continuous improvement:
• Provide a research platform that mines data from bps staff usage to highlight possible improvements in educator effectiveness, student outcomes, and teacher retention.
