The Vendor is required to provide power bi development services to update, rebuild, and modernize twenty (20) existing power bi dashboards to improve data consistency, reporting efficiency, and accessibility across court operations.
- This project will consolidate data from multiple systems, including e-court (case management system), Tyler technologies (jury system), and other internal operational sources, into a centralized reporting framework.
- Requirement:
1. Project initiation
• Conduct project kickoff no later than June 20, 2026
• Submit a project plan and communication plan within five (5) business days of kickoff
2. Discovery and requirements
• Review existing dashboards, data sources, and refresh processes
• Conduct stakeholder interviews as directed by the court
• Develop and submit a data mapping and metrics definitions document for court approval
3. Architecture and data modeling
• Design and implement a centralized semantic model (star schema preferred)
• Establish naming conventions and data governance standards
• Configure security architecture, including power bi workspaces and row-level security
4. Data integration
• Develop and configure power bi data flows and ETL processes for all required data sources
• Implement incremental refresh and data validation processes
• Provide reconciliation reporting for key metrics
5. Report development
• Rebuild and develop twenty (20) power bi dashboards
• Ensure reports meet usability, accessibility, and performance standards
• Include filters, drill through functionality, bookmarks, and mobile-optimized views
6. Testing and user acceptance
• Perform unit testing and quality assurance
• Support structured user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Address identified issues and obtain court approval prior to deployment
7. Deployment
• Publish reports to power bi service
• Configure data gateways and scheduled refreshes
• Implement row-level security and validate system access
8. Documentation and training
• Provide technical and end-user documentation
• Deliver two (2) recorded training sessions (administrative and end-user)
9. Warranty and support
• Provide thirty (30) calendar days of post-deployment support
• Correct defects identified during the warranty period at no additional cost.
