The Vendor is required to provide learning management system solutions to support training, compliance, and professional development.
- The LMS solution should support a wide range of learning and development needs, including but not limited to onboarding, mandatory compliance training (e.g., workplace safety, harassment prevention, and policy acknowledgment), leadership development, and , technical skills training..
- The platform should also enable the creation, delivery, and tracking of both instructor-led training (“ILT”) and online/self-paced courses.
- Key capabilities of interest include robust reporting and analytics tools to monitor course completion, certifications, and compliance status; accurate employee training record reporting; configurable learning paths aligned with job roles or career progression; automated notifications and reminders. The County is also interested in solutions that support accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG compliance), mobile access, and multilingual content delivery to ensure equitable access for all employees.
- The County values platforms that offer strong administrative controls, including role-based permissions, content management features, and the ability to easily update and maintain course materials. Vendor support for implementation, data migration, system configuration, and ongoing technical assistance is an important consideration, as is the availability of user training and documentation.
