The Vendor is required to provide a web-based application to enhance literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies instruction and differentiated practice through a consistent, core instructional program across the district without replacing the core curriculum.
- Solution shall engage and motivate students while promoting independence and reinforcing practical life and transition skills in addition to personalized core instruction.
- Solution shall connect to life, vocational, and community skills across the curricula.
- This may include but is not limited to systematic reading content with differentiated, adaptive learning paths and/or digital, leveled text for ongoing independent reading practice. Solution should also include evidence-based practice for transition-aged youth.
- Solution shall contain an embedded assessment system to provide educators with real-time performance data and the ability to generate data reports by student, class, grade, school, and district level. These assessments shall capture beginning, mid, and end-year growth.
- Solution shall provide the following:
• High level of student engagement and motivation
• Intuitive and visually pleasing user interface
• Intuitive teacher, school, and district student performance dashboards
• Flexibility to be used with varied implementation models (i.e., literacy stations, computer labs, intervention blocks, before-/after-school programs, home use).
- Solution shall capture the student’s understanding of a skill or concept and give teachers the ability to see the student’s original product/assignment/activity.
- Solution shall be easy to modify progress monitoring based on the individual needs of the student.
- Solution shall have the capability to adjust to students' skill. In addition, the solution shall have components that allow individuals to work on the same concept but at varying differentiated levels along a comprehensive continuum.
- Solution shall allow students with significant disabilities the ability to navigate independently. Parents and teachers shall have general ease in supporting students with the solution. The solution shall update and save student work in real time.
- Solution shall have a simple and friendly user interface and allow for teachers to easily alternate with print materials.
- Solution shall allow for audio capability, closed-caption capabilities, and additional alternate access options such as, but not limited to, scanning, touch enter, touch exit, mouse dwell, and eye gaze.
- Solution shall be able to manage at least 60,000+ concurrent agency users with less than 30ms latency. Offeror(s) must provide comprehensive documentation to show the ability to accommodate concurrent users based on data collected from a similar environment.
